Metallization and Joining

Over the years Stratamet has engineered specific techniques and processes for metallization and joining of ceramics to metals and glasses. High strength MoMn metallization formulas achieve maximum bond strengths and reliable hermetic seals.  Other techniques allow for ceramic- to- ceramic seals, ceramic- to- glass seals, and ceramic- to- metal seals without metallization. 

Micro Solution Metallizing

MSM involves a unique set of proprietary techniques, developed at Stratamet.  Fine line detail down to .001" is achieved with MSM. Characteristics of these films have many other beneficial characteristics when compared to refractory thick film techniques for metallization, especially where complex or very small geometry is involved.

Brazing and Assembly :

Producing reliable high vacuum ceramic assemblies is a marriage of many disciplines from engineering design, ceramic body, machining,  grinding, metallization, and brazing.  The final product is only as good as the weakest link in this process.    At Stratamet we provide all these services under one roof and ensure that each process is works with the others to provide the best and most reliable final assembly possible.
